Muse-X kicks off with Electronic Friday, April 17th, 6PM
Muse-X is taking place in the Pyramid of Tirana, April 17th - 19th
Muse-X, taking place in the Pyramid of Tirana, kicks of with Electronic Friday, at 6PM. As the sun sets over the Pyramid, the opening performance transforms the structure itself into a stage. Acoustic Electronics Orchestra reimagines legendary electronic tracks from the 1980s onward through orchestral instrumentation, blending synth classics with strings, brass and percussion. It’s a tribute to the roots of electronic music, performed against the geometric backdrop of the Pyramid. As darkness falls, the night shifts from orchestral reinterpretation into global house music, gradually building energy across the main Pyramid stage. From warm grooves to deeper rhythms, the atmosphere moves toward a late-night climax as melodic techno closes the main stage...
Electronic heavyweights including Ben Klock, Ken Ishii, David Morales and Brina Knauss headline the night on two stages, bringing together multiple generations and styles of global electronic music. Supporting acts include performances by Motel Sazani, PEZNT B2B Gramophonedzie, Jenn, Sildee, Fanatek B2B Rea and Uzun Brothers.
More than a festival, Muse-X is a three-layer platform combining an exhibition, an industry conference, and a festival program. The event brings together labels, agencies, artists, festival founders, media platforms, and technology companies tocreate something the region has long been missing: a structured meeting point for the music industry of Southeast Europe.
Muse-X positions itself not just as a festival, but as a cultural experiment. Fashion plays a central role, with curated runway moments reflecting the aesthetics of different music cultures, from electronic minimalism to rock attitude and hip-hop streetwear. Urban culture comes alive through breakdance performances, flash mobs and live graffiti sessions spread across the venue.
Visual production transforms the Pyramid into an immersive environment through large-scale light installations, laser shows and experimental stage design. Choreographed etno-electronic performances fuse traditional Balkan movement with contemporary electronic sound, creating a dialogue between heritage and modern club culture.
The goal is to highlight the wider creative identity of the region while positioning Tirana as a new meeting point for international cultural exchange. For three days, the Pyramid becomes more than a landmark. It becomes a stage for music, movement and visual experimentation - and, if Muse-X has its way, the starting point of a festival that places the Balkans firmly on the global cultural map.
